Installations
Installations are interesting interactive displays or setups that are especially created for the conference. An installation may provide a function, or it may be an aesthetic piece of art. An installation may directly relate to the theme, venue, conference programme, speakers, and/or participants of the conference.
It may use interactive technologies in an interesting way or it may promote interaction amongst the participants. It may “inform” the passers by near the convention venue about what is going on in the conference. Or it may be completely different from any of these, and may be a total surprise.
Student and industry groups are encouraged to put up an installation showcasing their talent.
The list of accepted Installations is now available online
Quick Info
The selected installations will be showcased during the conference days. The details of these selected entries along with the final videos will also be published on the conference website.
Guidelines
Installations may be proposed by groups of 1-8 people. Any student, academician or industry personnel can submit an entry to installations.
Submissions must contain a write-up of maximum 2 pages explaining the concept and a 5-minute video explaining the concept. The write up should be formatted in the Springer LNCS Format. Submissions should be uploaded in PDF format, using the conference submission system (PCS). The accompanying video should be uploaded on YouTube or Vimeo (as private or unlisted) and the link must be submitted along with PCS submission by June 30, 2017 - 23:59 PT.
The submissions will be judged on the originality of the concept and novelty of the interaction. There would be preference for ideas directly related to the conference itself.
